A few suggestions to improve a thoroughly enjoyable stay in excellent location.
8.0Excellent location, very clean, friendly staff.
− The smell from the floor gully. Solved by placing bath at on it, but unpleasant. Also the room fan might be branded but it’s useless, the angle it projects the air means unless you are standing over it does noting to cool you. Also as room was overlooking garden/A46 using the room at in the evening and overnight with any sort of privacy save the curtains, made it hotter! Please consider directional blinds in these rooms.
Hot, loud, sleepless
1.0The main building with hotel and pub is nice.
− I booked this hotel because the Google Maps page states that it has air-conditioning. It does not. The owner/manager told me that they don’t control that page. I was put on the top floor of an outbuilding on the highway instead of the main hotel. The room was a western loft with with large skylights facing the afternoon sun with no blinds or shades. The room was 10 or 15° hotter than the outside temperature. I was told to open the window and turn on the fan to cool it off but the room was mere feet away from a highway with trucks, lorries, and all kinds of loud traffic going all day and night. During the day the sun shines through the skylights and at night the moon does the same, so you can’t sleep. I lay awake, sweating, until dawn, at which time I packed up and left to find another hotel.

− Varmt rum. Solen hade lyst in hela dagen så först vid 11 på kvälöen böev graderna ner tillräckligt för att sova. Trots att det stod en fläkt öch blåste var det varmt.

− Logé dans le cottage, qui est une annexe qui longe la route nationale. Bruit constant du trafic routier, et en particulier des camions. Chambre non climatisée. English breakfast servi à table, mais de qualité moyenne
