10.0The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here
A fine hotel for a cycling holiday stop-over.
10.0We were on a cycling trip from Lands End to John O'Groats and this was not far off the route. Good value accommodation. Breakfast was excellent but the hotel does not offer an evening meal on most nights. Plenty options in town though. Staff were friendly and the pub in the hotel was friendly too. Safe and secure storage for the bikes was provided too.

8.0Used as a stayover whilst cycling Sustrans route 3. Perfectly good for that purpose. However, do check dining options in the town - they are very limited, particularly on a Sunday!
