We were very lucky and had the whole of Shambhala to ourselves so no need to share tv etc
10.0There were lots of personal touches such as a small jar with cookies on the tray with tea and coffee. There were two warm, fluffy bath towels hanging in the room. There was a basket of indoor slippers by the door which I assume were for guests if they desired, Shambhala went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed a luxurious stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room heated very efficiently. The room was very spacious and being able to sit out on the verandah was a real treat with a glorious view.
− The shower was very effective - good temperature and pressure. (A small wall heater or some form of heating would have taken the chill off first thing in the mornings or at night).

10.0This is my 3rd stay here and 100% would recommend - tile fire is amazing, fresh bread every morning and local produce for included breakfast is excellent. Will be booking again next year without question

Cosy Winter Escape
9.0Lovely location for a long weekend. Beautiful outlook from balcony bedrooms and lounge/ dining area. The fire and chesterfield lounge was very welcome after a Winter's day exploring. Ruth and family were very friendly but not intrusive and the continental breakfast offered plenty of options. Highly recommended.
− Pillows weren't to our liking so if you're fussy bring your own, we forgot hours. Bathroom a little dated but perfectly functional. Everything else was spot on.
