Where to begin? The staff was amazing - friendly, helpful, and communicative. The location was excellent - just far enough from town on a quiet, beautiful beach but close enough to get in the mix quickly. The food...absolutely incredible!

− I am an early riser and was hoping to have coffee while watching the sunrise; alas, I had to wait until breakfast started at 8 AM. Not a big deal, as the early morning walks on the beach were magical.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach fantastisch. Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage direkt am Meer und bietet einen atemberaubenden Ausblick. Besonders beeindruckend war, dass man sogar Wale direkt vom Hotel aus beobachten konnte. Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Auch das Essen war hervorragend. Wir haben uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag rundum wohlgefühlt.

Sunset Mancora was one of the highlights of our holiday in Peru and a genuine five-star experience. The hotel enjoys an incredible beachfront location where we were lucky enough to watch humpback whales, seals and abundant birdlife directly from the property. Our room was spacious and comfortable for three adults, with a fantastic balcony, excellent bathroom and thoughtful touches including separate towels for the beach and showering. The food exceeded all expectations. Breakfast was fresh and varied every morning, while dinner was consistently exceptional. We sampled almost the entire menu during our stay and every meal was superb. There were excellent choices for meat, seafood and vegetarian guests, and the bar offered a fantastic selection of cocktails, wines, beers, juices and coffees. What truly makes this hotel special, however, is the atmosphere created by its people. Pepe, Livio, and their families have created a professional hotel with the warmth and hospitality of a welcoming family home. On our final evening, Pepe’s wife gave me, my wife and our daughter a beautiful handmade set of runes as a good-luck gift for being such good guests. It was a wonderful and completely unexpected gesture that perfectly reflected the generosity and warmth we experienced throughout our stay. Our biggest thank you goes to Matias, whose service was simply outstanding. Throughout the week he looked after us with genuine warmth, humour and professionalism, never once saying no to any request and often anticipating what we needed before we asked. He even came in on his day off after the hotel had been let down by another member of staff, simply to make sure guests were properly looked after. He is an absolute credit to Sunset Mancora and one of the finest hospitality professionals we have ever met. We also want to thank Karely, William, Angela, Rosa and Sandra, who all contributed to making our stay so memorable.
