Powfoot Hotel
8.0Powfoot Hotel is a comfortable hotel in a lovely position on the estuary. It is a touch tired in places, thread bare carpet on the main staircase, cracked sinks and rattly doors, but staff were attentive and the food in the restaurant was very nice indeed. The additional balcony with outside furniture for rooms 1-4 was a really nice bonus that I don't remember being advertised and had great views out over the bay and golf course. Great for a brief stop over on the way to Scotland.

8.0Had a lovely stay here. The food was very good indeed and the staff were nice and friendly. Lovely view across the Solway Firth too.
Great hotel in idyllic location
8.0The food options, service and location were great for us. Car needed as very limited public transport available. The bed was too firm, not very comfortable but overall everything else made up for it.
