Great wildlife spotting!
8.0A lovely stay in this lodge, which is in the heart of the Forest. The nature trail was great and we saw lots of wildlife in the trees and around the property - I have never seen so many hummingbirds! We enjoyed the breakfast where you can choose an option from the menu and it is freshly prepared. The staff at reception were very helpful and booked us taxis to go into Santa Elena in the evening (only about 5 - 10 min drive away) so that we could access the restaurants. The only negative I have is that the lodges are very dark and the floors are very slippery as they are polished wood. The room was very clean and well maintained.

10.0The Cala Lodge is so eco conscious, views are phenomenal , nature walk, birds…wow! Staff is extremely kind and breakfast was delicious. Recommendations were appreciated. Room so cute and comfy. A small coffee maker/hot water maker in room would be amazing but only a suggestion. Was a wonderful experience and close to cloud forest!
