Beautiful Hotel but very noisy basement room
4.0Beautifully appointed room with lovely bathroom and shower. Lots of special touches like water dispenser, tea, coffee and biscuits etc. lovely decor. But avoid booking room 1 in the basement if you want peace and quiet! The noise from upstairs guests was incredible and it wasn’t their fault, they were just doing normal things. It was the creaking floors, hearing everything (!) when they used the toilet, showered, walked across the room etc. Both guests showered at midnight so that kept us awake. Also the beds were REALLY hard. And you really expect to be able to get a good nights sleep when staying at a hotel. Such a shame as everything else about the hotel was top notch.

− The room number 2 was in the basement and had a slight damp smell. Also the view was at a wall and people's legs. The clothes rail was in a cupboard above another cupboard with a safe inside. On top of that cupboard was the coffee and tea equipment. Not a lot of space to hang your clothes and you would have to take your clothes out of the cupboard before making a cup of tea or coffee. Luckily we only stayed one night and did not need to hang clothes up.

8.0Excellent location, close to the beach and the downtown area. Good sized rooms with AC and fridge. Friendly staff.
− No elevator, only stairs. No parking facility, though the reception can give you a voucher for parking nearby (for a fee).
