Unacceptable Staff Behavior and Poor Service
2.0Very disappointing experience. The language used by the staff was unacceptable and unprofessional. What was more concerning is that the service appeared very poor even before we completed check-in, which gives a clear indication of the overall attitude and standards. First impressions matter, and unfortunately this hotel failed badly on that front. If this is how guests are treated at the start, it does not reflect well for the future. Overall, it feels like the hotel is going nowhere unless there is a serious improvement in staff behavior and service quality.
Unacceptable Privacy Breach at IIDL Suites – Staff Ignores Guest Boundaries, Management Dismisses Complaints
2.0My stay at IIDL Suites in Mayur Vihar, New Delhi, was marred by a serious invasion of privacy that left me feeling unsafe and disrespected. Although I had deliberately opted out of housekeeping service (no "Clean my room" request selected, and no need for it that day), a male housekeeping staff member entered my occupied room uninvited and without proper announcement. I caught him in the act inside the room and immediately asked him to leave. His lame excuse? He claimed he rang the doorbell three times, got no answer, and decided he had the "right" to let himself in anyway—for housekeeping that I hadn't even requested! This isn't just poor training; it's a blatant disregard for basic guest privacy and boundaries. No waiting for permission and just assuming entry is fine because the guest didn't respond. In what world does that make sense for a supposed "luxury" serviced apartment? When I reported this disturbing incident to the front desk receptionist, their response was infuriating: they shrugged it off as "routine" practice. No apology, no concern for my discomfort, no assurance that it wouldn't happen again or that the staff would be corrected. Instead, they defended the behavior as normal! It's shocking that the management at IIDL Suites allows—and even normalizes—such intrusions, treating a paying guest's explicit preference for privacy as "optional". Shame on the management for cultivating this cavalier attitude toward guest safety and respect. In any professional hotel, especially one rebranded from Fraser Suites and trying to position itself as upscale, staff should never enter an occupied room without clear permission, particularly when service hasn't been requested. A simple acknowledgment of the mistake and an apology could have salvaged the situation, but their indifference speaks volumes about their priorities: apparently, "routine" violations trump customer comfort. This property's history of rebranding (from Fraser Suites to IIDL) suggests ongoing issues, and if they continue tolerating this kind of incompetent, boundary-ignoring staff without accountability, it's no wonder they struggle to maintain a strong reputation. If you prioritize your personal privacy, feeling secure in your room, and being treated with basic courtesy, strongly avoid IIDL Suites. There are far better hotels in Delhi that actually understand hospitality and respect guest requests. Save yourself the frustration and book elsewhere!
1-Star Review: Extremely Disappointing Stay at IIDL Suites Delhi 👎🏼
2.0The housekeeping here was terrible and slow. I had to wait for hours just to get my room cleaned, even after calling them again and again. Room supplies, like utensils and bathroom items, were always few and incomplete. The food was too expensive, and the butler made me pay cash right away, acting like I would run away without paying when I checked out. Also, they asked for extra money if my visitor stayed in the room for more than two hours, which was a very cheap way to act. I believe a hotel is more than just a big building and other nice things. It's about the experience, good service, and overall care you give to guests. Even though I paid a price for a 5-star place, it felt like a third-class hotel.
Comfortable stay
10.0We stayed there for 5 days and it was a comfortable stay. Hotel is clean, staff is courteous, cooperative and humble. We were served by Md jeeshan, who is very humble and cooperative. He also provide us the hot parathas and puris despite of being available there.
Pathetic
2.0Pathetic services and very rude hotel staff. The rooms are pathetic, not maintained. AC tripped of at 5 AM and no one bothered to repair it or change our rooms. The entire property is leaking water, hwever there was no water supply in the hotel rooms from 3 AM. At around 7 am water resumed but it was worse than drainage water : black and stinking. Raised concerns to front desk but no resourse. Room 314 / 8th August 25
Good Stay at New Dehi
6.0Spent 3 nights in this hotel during my recent India visit. Located at Mayur Vihar area. Were on BB basis. Room was spacious. Clean bathrooms. Good WiFi. Good value for money. Average Breakfast with buffet. Much better if they offer money exchange facility. Woyld have been very convenient if you can consider this facility.
