K's House Ito Onsen - Historical Ryokan Hostel♡

This hostel is not quite ready for the heat, it could have been much better if it was cooler.

The common area on the first floor is cool and comfy. The building looks historical and has its own kind of vibe. The staff we met were easy to communicate with in English.

− We visited this place in the summer. You can feel the heat from each floor, room, and the craziest, those shared restrooms on the third floor. We both literally sweated like rain, literally had wet cloths out of the toilet. The AC in our room was also underpowered, and somehow the cool air only comes out from the left and right of the AC. I have absolutely no idea how the middle, like 70%, doesn’t have any air coming out of the machine. Thankfully, it was already on when we checked in, but again, it never cooled the room down to a comfortable temperature. The other issue is about smell. The shoe storage near the entrance contains some pretty strong odor, and it spreads out to some other part of the lobby. You can smell it just by walking to the public bath or to the laundry area. The following might be due to it possibly being a public onsen, but it is still confusing. There is a sign indicating tickets and fares. It seems like you can't get additional towels even if you've returned your towel. One of us was forced not to take the bath due to the lack of towels. Additionally, right after returning the key, when I was getting my shoes back on, one nail (maybe less than 1 mm off the floor) broke one of my socks.

大正時代の由緒ある宿の造り 寛ぎ易い雰囲気造りとスタッフ対応 客人共仲良くなれるような環境と雰囲気造り スタッフの丁寧な対応 SNSにアップしたらすぐに何処なのか問い合わせがありました。 近場に美味しい料理屋あり美味しい鮮魚を食べれた。 お風呂も雰囲気があり広く寛げて良かった。 海外の方々も凄くリラックスしていました。

− 駐車場説明が分かりにくく迷子になってしまった。 まさか右折するとは？ すぐ目の前にあったのに分かりませんでした。

C'est une tres jolie auberge traditionnelle avec des salons pour se detendre et des onsen tres agreables.

We shared a mixed gender dormitory and it was fine for two nights but if we were staying longer we would have booked in

Close to beach and train station. Onsens were nice. Staff were very friendly. Decor was beautiful.

− Squeaky wooden floors and doors. Slippers were not comfortable. Only one gender neutral bathroom with two stalls and two urinals per floor and it was not spacious. It was very warm in the main areas and the room was a little warmer than we would have preferred. There was one plank in the floor on the balcony that was not perfectly secure.
