Great property, but an administrative and customer service nightmare
1.0Location and ambiance
− I recently stayed here for five days on a business trip. The property itself is nice, and the first three days were fine, but the service completely fell apart on my final day. 1. Billing Errors: I extended my stay by one night. I provided my personal card only for a hold and pre-paid the next morning with my corporate card to expedite checkout which the staff agreed. Despite explicit instructions and assurance, they charged my personal card anyway, creating a massive accounting nightmare for me. 2. Inconsistent Policies: When I pre-paid with my corporate card, they refused to give me a receipt/invoice, citing "hotel policy." Yet, later that same day, I watched them hand a "mid-invoice" to another guest for the exact same thing. When confronted, the staff had no explanation. 3. Room Issues: My room key stopped working and required two trips to the front desk and a staff escort to fix. 4. Poor Customer Service: My room was left unserviced, with no drinking water. When I called to request water, staff told me I had to buy it from the restaurant because room service was closed, instead of fixing their own mistake. Tap water is potable in Bern, but passing the burden on to the guest is not; I had to call back and argue with them before they finally sent someone up with water. For such a reputable group and property, the staff is incredibly poorly trained. I expect much better attention to detail, especially regarding corporate billing.

10.0Všetko výborné. Odporúčam. Hotel, personál, čistota, pekné izby, dobré raňajky, parkovanie - nemám výhrady.
− Na raňajkách nám odniesli tanier, ale použitý príbor nechali na ďalší chod. Neznášam to. Stretla som sa s tým už aj v iných krajinách, ale nerozumiem tomuto zvyku. Nedáva mi zmysel.
