10.0Do not think twice about this Palace
A real palace in the Italian countryside
10.0Venafro is a special place! Close to Cassino, exceedingly tranquil and definitely not overrun by tourists. Dimora del Prete is a beautiful and well preserved palace with historical significance but with modern touches and amenities. During our stay we felt well taken care of with a yummy and elegantly set out breakfast. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and special. Our host, Angela, appeared out of nowhere with her perfect English and eagerness to assist us in just about everything from parking our car to finding a perfect gift for our son. The tour of the opulent palace that she gave us was an unexpected bonus and made us delve into 18-19th century Italian history. In sum, our stay was outstanding and we’re very glad that our Italian trip included Dimora del Prete and Venafro.

10.0Un posto incredibile: sembra di essere nel Gattopardo. Una casa dell’Ottocento, nella parte storica del paese. Assolutamente imperdibile, ci sono capitato per caso ma ci tornerò con la famiglia

10.0The property was one of the most impressive that we have ever experienced. It was built in the 1700's in the French style and contained many antiques. Dorothy, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exquisite. The property was a little difficult to find with the small streets. A number "49" and the property name on the entry would be helpful.
