A dream vacation

Location half an hour away from Hampi. Classy hotel, classy employees, classy facilities. We stayed in executive suite. Spaceous. Clean. Well appointed. Everything worked splendidly. Multi-station, multi-cuisine enormous breakfast facility with live counters. Nothing to criticize. Keep it up.

Good location but disappointing upkeep

Check in experience was interesting. Although we had advance reservations front desk was discussing which room to put us in on arrival. we were given a room where lights did not work, safe deposit box had an error code and the chair was broken. We asked for a different room and were given a room with working lights but a missing chair. they were nice enough to bring one in. Room was overall in bad condition- bathroom door was peeling, with broken jagged edges at the lower end. Food was good but dining room is not adequately staffed at dinner time. Staff struggles to keep up with the flow. Although breakfast is supposed to start at 7:00, when we arrived at 7:10 there was 1 person and lights were turned on after they saw us. Most breakfast items were brought in after 7:30. The second day we decided to go at 8:00 and everything was ready. Staff is courteous and tries to do their best but it appears they are not set up to manage tourist flow. Upkeep is sadly lacking.

Room amenities not in good order. Toilet flush didn’t work properly. Sink faucet leaked.phone was not connected hence didn’t work. Bird droppings just outside the window so much that makes you keep the curtain closed. King size bed has two separate twin mattresses. Overall the room looked rundown. The faucets in the men’s washroom were very loose. On other hand, restaurant staff and food both were very good. By no means it is 5 star, more like 3 star hotel.

Property is ok, ROOMS are ok , BATHROOMS are Very POOR.

Employees are extremely helpful. For the hotel it self , Bathrooms are in very POOR condition. The owner and Management needs to check the BATHROOMS .

A clean, well run hotel in Hampi

The hotel was well run. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well ventilated. However the fridges in the rooms were not working despite being checked and replaced. Also, they were not able to provide multiple room cards for room. However, service was good, the food was very good and customised to our taste (we had some food allergies). The swimming pool is large and well kept. The morning breakfast buffet was well organised. A special treat was the live flute performance we heard (on Saturday, Sunday and Monday) by the very talented flute player Keshavraj and his musically gifted young son, Vasishta (who came on Sunday to play). We enjoyed our stay.
