Lovely location for a few days.
7.0It’s great hotel for kids and young families. Good location and right in front of the beach.
− The fresh water for showers is very salty. I felt like I was showering from the ocean water and had to use a bottle of water to wash of the salt water for my hair.
Was our 2nd stay at the Bali Mandira - and hopefully not our last!!!
9.0The staff, the A La Carte breakfast, Lounge amenities and the fact that staff were willing to do anything to make our stay memorable.
− The lunch was included but was very limited - and the chicken was severely under cooked on one day. Decided not to continue going for lunch after that but that was ok - Legian has some beautiful food options.
Overpriced for what it is, pool had mould, bathrooms not soundproof
5.0Bed was comfy and internal room clean, staff were friendly and helpful but they can’t do much about facilities - fail by senior management allowing construction after hours.
− Construction works were going on into the night after 8pm with grinders and banging despite no mention of works on their website. At checkin was told it would stop by 5pm. Pool slide had mould and my child got an ear infection likely due to the pool water quality. You can hear neighbours in their bathroom as the bathroom roofs are not fully enclosed so you can hear everything, including screaming kids at bath time. You would hear people on toilet also, especially if they ended up with Bali belly. Cockroaches and ants roaming around the bathroom due to its openness with only mesh screening stopping anything else bigger from coming in. This place did not meet the price tag. Rooms were not very soundproof, especially due to the bathroom. Breakfast was average. The type of parents that stay do not supervise their children in the pool which ruined our experience also, kids sliding down slides without watching if anyone is at bottom.
We will be staying there again.
10.0Location is perfect, on the beach, close to great bars and restaurants. Excellent adults only area!
