Pleasant, but....!
7.0Peace and quiet, relaxed atmosphere, close proximity to Stellenbosch, Paarl, Durbanville. Rooms are nice, but showing their age. The staff were very welcoming and trying hard to please.
− It was very isolated, part of a disused wine cellar/warehouse through which one has to enter, unlocking and locking a number of big doors before getting to your room. Feels eerie, deserted and leaves one feeling somewhat vulnerable. Towels frayed and no longer white, need replacing. One breakfast was completely dominated by a business conference group who used the dining area as their project room, we felt like we were intruding.
