Our jungle lodge was a nicely appointed glamping adventure. We loved our private deck to watch monkeys and birds. Inside, you could hear wildlife 24/7, and we loved it. The bedding was comfortable, and all basic kitchen and bathroom amenities were provided. We had a couple little critters (lizard and giant green grasshopper) join us inside, but it didn’t bother us, the air conditioning and fans were powerful, and we felt very comfortable. We enjoyed seeing our first lion fish and flat fish snorkeling off polo beach. We visited the red frog beach club for food and drinks, especially seated under the palapas to read all day against the sound of the waves. Highly recommend renting the golf cart, everything is very spread out! 2-3 nights here was perfect.

The best of both worlds - Jungle and Sea!

What an amazing experience! My wife and I would go back in a heartbeat. We stayed in the Jungle Villas and were constantly amazed by all the wildlife around us. The Villas are well appointed and you could hear the sounds of the jungle and waves crashing at night. The staff was absolutely amazing and friendly. We had a blast interacting with them and visiting. We typically communicated with the front desk via WhatsApp and they were always responsive. While you are there, make sure you check out Polo’s beach, not far away. The staff can get you to within a 10 minute walk by golf cart. Buy a couple of beer from Polo and find your own secluded patch of sand to enjoy. While on the resort property, we saw monkeys, sloths, red frogs, and all types of birds. We even heard night monkeys on our roof at night. Red Frog is also a great base to explore the rest of the area. Don’t be afraid to take water taxis back and forth to Bocas Town and Old Town as the taxis themselves are a great experience. The staff at Red Frog is always happy to arrange transportation. Make sure you make the trek to Zapatilla Island while you are there. Try some snorkeling as well. Enjoy the local culture, food, and people. They are very friendly and proud of their home! I would highly recommend Red Frog Resort to anyone!

Fun times away

Remote resort that you need to take a water taxi(charge of $8 per ride) to get to. Resort needs updating in their accommodations as they are in need of updating and repairs. The location is stunning and amazing. Oliver and the staff were excellent in helping us with some of the issues (plumbing in one villa). Highlights were seeing the sloths, monkeys, red frogs and many birds. Purchasing groceries in Bocas del Tora prior to getting on the water taxi is more economical and greater variety than the little store at the resort. Restaurant at resort Rosa was good, also two restaurants that are a 10 minute walk down the beach. Main beach was red flagged for our stay but there is another beach (Polo beach) you can walk to that is secluded and beautiful. Snorkelling here would have been amazing. Shuttle service was great to get us around resorts staff were also so helpful in pointing out wildlife and answering questions. Most spoke English but many spoke only Spanish.

Peaceful, wild, and wonderfully unforgettable

We visited Red Frog Beach Resort in Panama to celebrate our anniversary and our daughter’s 30th birthday, and the experience was absolutely amazing. We stayed in a jungle cabin that was adorable, thoughtfully designed, and had everything we needed in one perfect little space. Each morning, we enjoyed a cup of locally grown coffee while watching the ocean waves from our deck—pure magic. The entire resort is beautifully laid out and incredibly peaceful. Even while fully enjoying all it has to offer, it never once felt crowded. One of our favorite daily activities was walking to the beach and spotting monkeys and sloths in the trees along the way. There were endless excursions to choose from, and the staff went above and beyond to help arrange everything seamlessly. The spa experience deserves special mention—it was truly magical. Having a massage under a waterfall was serene, relaxing, and unforgettable. The highlight of our vacation, though, was the extraordinary kindness of Oliver and his team. They helped us surprise our daughter with a fully decorated cabin and an incredible birthday dinner prepared by the resort chef himself. It was thoughtful, beautifully done, and meant the world to our family. We cannot wait to return to Red Frog Beach Resort. It was a trip we’ll treasure forever.

La Rosa Beach Club

Raul and Rafael were amazing at the La Rosa Beach Club. Jimmy plays fun local music that makes you want to get up and dance. We had an amazing romantic dinner on the beach with Ribeye and Fresh Snapper. We highly suggest booking a delish dinner here or even coming by for a few drinks. Everyone is so friendly and sweet!

Romantic, honeymoon paradise

Amazing experience. Great food, Beautiful location. The beach club was very nice with great food. We had the romantic dinner at the beach and loved it! Raul and Jommy were super friendly. All the staff at Red Frog was very accommodating and fun to talk to.
