10.0Stayed overnight for a party. Room was nice but a bit warm though it’s an old building so expected. Bed comfortable shower and bathroom clean and efficient. Staff really friendly and helpful nice breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Hidden Gem for the Rugby
10.0We stumbled across The City Hotel by chance as we were in Scotland for the Rugby. Edinburgh hotels prices are crazy so found this hotel on Tripadvisor. Price a 1/3 of Edinburgh prices with fabulous breakfast included and only a 30 minute train ride into Edinburgh. Dunfermline is steeped in History and will definitely come back and advice all other Rugby followers to stay here for quality food, warm spacious room, fabulous friendly staff and best breakfast I have had in a long time.

10.0Lovely staff, and all very helpful. The room was comfortable and very well presented. The breakfast was excellent, and the choice of food very good! The location of the hotel is very central, access to the city's attractions was easy (mostly a short walk). I would definitely recommend this hotel.
