Abgewohntes Hotel in guter Lage mit anstrengendem Frühstück
6.0Die Lage des Hotels am Rathausplatz zentral zwischen mehreren Metrostationen in einer etwas ruhigeren Ecke war super zum Erkunden von Athen. Der Bau an sich ist ein hässlicher hochgezogener grauer Betonbau. Die Rezeption ist 24 h lang besetzt und die Personen sind immer sofort hilfsbereit. Unserem Wunsch nach einem ruhigen Zimmer wurde nachgekommen mit einem Zimmer hinten raus in den schmalen Innenhof. Grundsätzlich viel Ablagefläche im Zimmer.
− Das Hotel ist abgewohnt, die Möbel und Ausstattung im Zimmer ebenfalls (außer das Bad). Man hat sich nicht so wirklich wohl gefühlt und wollte nicht allzu viel im Zimmer ausbreiten. Im Hotel hat es überall parfümiert gerochen, was sehr aufdringlich war. Die (verlassene) Dachterasse in der 9. Etage haben wir eher zufällig entdeckt. Die Frühstückszeiten waren von 6:30 bis 9:30 Uhr, es wurde Punkt 9:30 das Licht ausgeschaltet. Am ersten Tag schaute die Frühstücksdame genervt auf die Uhr als sie 9 Uhr noch etwas auffüllen musste nachdem jemand nach dem Dosenobst gefragt hatte. Man konnte sogar nachvollziehen dass die Damen das Ende der Frühstückszeit herbeisehnten. Der Frühstücksraum ist wirklich ungemütlich und für die Massen zu klein mit unglücklich angeordneten Tischen. Man muss Glück haben wenn man gerade einen freien Tisch erwischt mit den unbequemen kalten Plastikstühlen. Das Buffet war durch den Andrang und die Enge manchmal eher eine Schlachteplatte. Alle Gäste haben es immerzu „geplündert“. Das Frühstück war das nervigste am gesamten Aufenthalt, weil einfach zu anstrengend. Bei Ankunft fragte uns der Rezeptionist mehrfach, warum wir über genau diese Metrostation gekommen seien. Für uns zu viel nach der späten Anreise, noch auf Essenssuche… Man muss die Zimmmerkarte beim Verlassen des Hotels jedes Mal abgeben sonst wird man sofort zurück gerufen.
