The staff are the stars at Sian Ka'an. Every one of them are so welcoming and cheerful. Alina made our 40th Anniversary really special and Fabian is a ball of energy, shame about the sargassum but it was still a wonderful experience.

Amazing holiday

The Hotel was amazing very clean through out hotel , we had a superior ground floor with jacuzzi, We asked about upgrade to penthouse nothing wrong with the room just wanted a bit more privacy in jacuzzi, Gave us one half price so well worth asking as low season, The room was superb ac worked lovely very clean maid service and had room service for breakfast was excellent, Pools were quite no issue with beds as normally only a few people there water in pool was very warm but lovely, Staff were amazing pool waiter was always there when wanting a drink did give him 200 pesos for the day so well looked after , Bars also great never waiting long or waiters came to table again tipped so was looked after well, Didn’t go beach due to the seaweed smell , Now the negatives the food in buffet restaurant was excellent however I think due to low capacity at hotel only 20% full the choice was lacking one night could not find anything to eat at all it was quite bad in my opinion but I must stress the quality of what was there was excellent The only other thing was the towels in the room I personally found them quite hard and abrasive a few guests said the same. Would I go back to this hotel absolutely would it was really nice well worth the luxury title it has I personally felt that. We had a great time and will be back

We had a lovely stay at Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an and found it to be a great place for a relaxing holiday. The resort has a calm and peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal if you're looking to escape the crowds.The staff were one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and provided excellent service throughout. Housekeeping was particularly impressive, with our room cleaned to a high standard each day. We also appreciated the little touches, such as the turning down service at night when we returned to the room, and I loved the spaciousness and the hot tub on my ground floor room. That said, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. Our room felt quite dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. We also had a leaking air conditioning unit and one of the lights in the room wasn't working, which was a little disappointing. The resort itself was peaceful and quiet, which was perfect for a relaxing holiday. . However due to the quietness of the hotels many of the a la carte restaurants hadvery limited reservations and I did not manage to get many of the resturants I would have liked to. Overall, we had a good experience thanks to the excellent service and relaxing environment. With some updates to the rooms and better maintenance, this resort could be even better.

Mexican escape

Staff were extremely helpful, Great to have full use of all the other hotels, It would have been more beneficial if you could see the other hotels on the app. Rooms were huge with lots of space to both relax and sleep with the option of air conditioners or ceiling fans. Staff came round twice a day to refresh rooms and towels. My only critisism was the buffet food in Sian Ka'an wasn't the greatest. Didn't understand the mashed potatoes and shepherds pie for breakfast options.... It would have been great to have more Mexican food during the evening specialities.

The staff is what makes this place, Ramon and Eglady in the Sain Kaan buffet, Carlos (Charley Chan) serving drinks around the pool, Edgar at the Akumal buffet, Christian at The Smoked restaurant and Erandi in guest Services are all such great people. I can’t wait to see you all again in October😄

Great hotel and staff !!

We have just returned after 11 nights at the hotel and had a great time with no complaints. The hotel is in a jungle like setting and only a short cart trip to the other hotels in the complex and the beach - we never had to wait longer than 5 mins for a lift. Whilst the hotel is rustic in parts, our penthouse room, hotel and grounds were kept clean and tidy. We had checked in 10 days prior to arrival and managed to book the Al a cartes we wanted - yes we had to be flexible with days/times but perseverance paid off and we were happy with our selections - we even managed to book the Smoked on arrival through guest services. The buffet choices at all meals within the hotels was good and in our opinion you’d have to be hard pushed to not find something ample to eat. We loved the omelettes at breakfast really good! The entertainment team were engaging and very friendly - no pushing to join in which was great. The shows were good - we particularly liked the Jersey Boys and the Abba shows. What stands out for us from this trip is the staff - they are all an absolute credit to the hotel - always wore a smile and were very friendly. In essence we loved our stay and would definitely revisit!! Thank you for a great holiday xx
