Disappointing Stay - February 2019
6.0Disappointing stay for a 5 star resort. Unwelcoming security staff on the front gate, drawn out check-in and our suite was cold, dirty and tired. Certainly not what we were expecting from this Hotel chain. We asked for a no smoking room and our room smelt of cigarettes and had ashtrays. The curtain were drawn so the room was dark on entering, we opened the curtains to find incredibly dirty windows and even dirtier net curtains. The room got really cold so we tried to turn the air-conditioning temperature up but found the controller hanging off the wall and it wouldn't let you select heat. On check-in we were not told where the restaurant was or the spa, not even what time breakfast was. We hoped there would be information in our room, there was none. We won't be staying again but would suggest Movenpick senior management send someone to check in for a night or so and see if this particular hotel is worthy of its 5 star rating and the Movenpick brand.

10.0كانت رائعه جدا بما تعني من كلمه من استقبال من العاملين ومن ناحية الحراسات الامنيه فهي دقيقه جدا اثناء دخولك وخروجك من المنتجع وايضا نظافة الاكل في المطعم صحيح ان الاسعار عاليه لكن نظافة الاكل وجودة الطعام ايضا عاليه ويوجد مكان للاطفال ووسائل ترفيهيه ويوجد مسبح مناسب للجميع ويوجد دراجات واسكوتر تستأجر بسعر رمزي ويوجد جتسكي وبوت ياخذك بجوله في البحر بسعر تقريبا ٢٥٠ ريال ل ٢٠ دقيقه..اخذت جناح مطل على الحديقه ويبعد عن الشاطي ٢٠٠ متر مشيا على الاقدام ويوجد مكان للمساج..للامانه منتجع مريح جدا لمن يبحث عن الاسترخاء الحقيقه مهما تحدثت عن هذا المنتجع لن اوفيه حقه والله ليس مجامله ولكن واقع عشته
One of the worst experiences I ever had in resorts
2.0I have no idea how the Movenpick Hotel chain is letting their brand get smeared so badly. Lets List the awful things about this "resort": Extra small reception area (my family had to wait in the car) Long wait for check in process 3 star gym and spa No private beach. Tiny strip of beach (100m max) No swimming in the sea. No indoor pool for rainy days Outdoor pool is a floating insect graveyard. Max is 1.5 m While walking in the Beach and pool area barefooted, I encountered a a screw jutting out from a covered manhole and I got my foot hurt Unclean villa and stained carpet Unclean restaurant, spilled juice, dirty napkins, slow service Untrained and unhelpful reception staff (you want house keeping? Pass by the reception to prove that you are getting out of the villa. You have an emergency and need to plug your un-starting iPhone to try and get it to work? No we won't help) On Expedia website, they say that a family of 2 with 2 children can only rent a villa and nothing smaller. The Villa has 5 rooms! 6 Beds! Two floors! 4 bathrooms!
