Great and popular gastropub - very convenient to stay in the rooms.

Great location in pleasant rural village, very quiet. Staff very friendly. The pub/restaurant is excellent and outdoor dining area quite stylish. Ample parking. Full breakfast included in the price - makes this good value.

− Bedrooms a bit dated compared to many boutique hotel-style gastropubs for about the same price, but perfectly pleasant.

Great food, breakfast and dinner, and the staff are always excellent - very helpful and friendly. Room was very comfortable, and the location is really peaceful. Parking right outside the room is really welcome, particularly when travelling on motorbikes.

− Not really an issue, but for some reason the tv couldn't connect to wifi on second day

food in the bar was excellent we had two evening meals and the breakfasts in the morning were to the same standard, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

− The weather was very hot during our stay and our room was very hot at night and there was no air conditioning, there was a fan provided but this was small and not up to the job of cooling our room. also, the fridge in our room was turned off and had not been opened for some time so it was quite smelly when i opened the door, it did work when I turned it on to cool some bottles of water.
