Good Tradition Pub with rooms
7.0Great quite location with a tradition pub feel and outside beer garden. Beds are comfy and rooms are well appointed.
− Bathroom could have been cleaner. Shower in Rm 3 was super frustrating spent over 5 minutes trying to get the temperature right. Stayed here before and unfortunately felt let down this time.
Disappointing room/facilities, visit Crondall regularly but will not use the Plume of Feathers again
2.0Location and car park
− Room very small, bed by the wall, no windows, small skylight only, very musty smell asked for air freshener and they had none, lighting poor, especially in bathroom for shaving or make up, no waste bin. The accommodation is an external workshop or bowling alley, converted into three very small en-suite rooms. The worse room we have ever paid for anywhere and was not cheap. NO breakfast of any description until "pastries" at 10-30am, drove to Fleet five away for a proper breakfast, I am diabetic and have to eat breakfast before 10-30am. Just our genuine experience and views, not sure where the 3 star rating comes from.
