Perfect Ambleside Location
7.0Excellent location! Such a great place for exploring the village. We had the family suite and slept three adults nicely. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was newly remodeled. Quality of beds and room were expected for the price and suited our needs fine. As other reviews have said, visiting in the summer means you have to sleep with the window open, and the bar downstairs is VERY loud, so if you’re early to bed people or have small children I would suggest looking elsewhere during the hot months.

− Shower was broken on arrival but was fixed quickly. Room was not cleaned during our stay as advertised, and so loo roll/shower gel came close to running out.

6.0− Had a water outage, sounds like that was the whole of ambleside so nothing you can do about that, but shower did break on the last day. No fridge either for noon catering so made it awkward for keeping any food
