10.0I recently stayed for one night at the InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort, an IHG Hotel in Qiandaohu, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel's unique location, far from the hustle and bustle, offers a serene escape with a breathtaking view of the lake. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. My room was immaculate and very comfortable, featuring excellent amenities. The private balcony with a panoramic view of the lake was the highlight, perfect for relaxation and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. The resort offers several additional services that enhance the stay. I particularly enjoyed the short hiking tour and the guided trip to the best spot to watch the sunset over the lake—an unforgettable experience! While the remote location adds to the charm and tranquility, it’s worth noting that the hotel is a 40-minute drive from the nearest town. I recommend driving or stocking up on essentials beforehand. Overall, the value for money is incredible, especially for the stunning views and peaceful ambiance. I highly recommend this resort to travelers seeking a quiet and rejuvenating getaway.
