The Jetwing St Andrews is a lovely, olde world hotel, suggesting what life in late 1800s Sri Lanka might have been like.
8.0I loved the old world charm and backdrop. The staff also were very friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and tasty. The proximity to Horton Plains is what makes a visit to Nuwara Eliya a must.
− It is in need of renovation. The rooms a very ‘tired’. The floor in my room sloped toward the wash basin. The carpet in the hallways was worn and coming away in places.

10.0Beautiful place, both the building and the grounds which are superb. Rooms are very comfortable. Very good food. Staff attentive and kind, best customer service we’ve had in Sri Lanka.
Peaceful, perfect for unwinding
8.0We loved the quiet of the location. It was inviting and the room was lovely. Dining was very very good. The traditional Sri Lankan dishes were exceptional.
− Our shower drain did not drain properly and we ended up with water on the dry areas making it a little slippery. Also water temperature kept going from hot to cold. Also there were no flyscreens on the windows and even though staff told us because we were up high and there were no mosquitos, we did find a few in our room.

8.0Lovely hotel with very attentive staff. Food was very good. Nuwara Eliya is a smallish town, two nights was just right for us.
