10.0Simon and Rose are wonderful hosts. They put all their effort in looking after their guests. The breakfast is very nice and you can order anything you like. The milk in the fridge for the tea and coffee are a very nice touch.
Lovely couple of days for my birthday
10.0We learnt more once we established our First bus passes could be used in this area as they were run by first bus. There is a service just up the road about a 7 mins walk ,X service straight into weymouth. There was a bus service from the village and there are shops close by, but not visible from the B and B The Turks head pub is next door to the bed and breakfast, pub grub, very quiet location, and very nice inside. It was well attended but no noise from people leaving the pub We would look to going again. The B and B rooms are spacious ours was ensuite, lovely decoration, at the rear of the property with a lovely view of the garden. However the garden was not accessible to the visitors on the upper floor, only the ground floor suites. Building is 1756 If I remember correctly. It a lovely old farmhouse and is gorgeous inside breakfast was very good. The abbotsbury swannery and tropical gardens are very close by. Go to the swannery first get a ticket for bot places with a discount.

10.0Simon and Rosie are wonderful, welcoming hosts who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with lovely White Company toiletries. Breakfast was outstanding and freshly prepared. We also appreciated Simon’s excellent local recommendations, including where to park and the best routes around Weymouth, which made exploring Dorset so much easier. Free parking right outside the house was another great bonus.
− Nothing really. A glass shower screen instead of a shower curtain would be a nice upgrade.

10.0Everything, friendly helpful hosts, excellent breakfast, cooked and presented well. Informative when asked for information. Would highly recommend.
− Nothing. The room was a bit hot at night, but temperatures were exceptionally high, so that would be true of many accommodations.
Good to know
The property is over 200 years old and still retains some of the original features such as low entrance doors and limited ceiling height in some areas. The stairs have a handrail to offer assistance in ascending and descending.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
