We will use the Jolly Drover again when we next visit Petersfield.

The breakfast was lovely. The location was perfect for our visit to Petersfield.

− Perhaps a choice of cereals for those with coeliac?

Good accommodation, conveniently placed but stay was spoiled by no hot water

Good size rooms, helpful staff and a good breakfast.

− No/little hot water in the shower in the morning. Early closing of the kitchen on a Sunday - we had to order before 5:30pm. Limited menu options.

Great stopover for Goodwood Festival of Speed

Convenient location, good size room. Comfortable bed with excellent wet room. Good food available at the pub, great cooked breakfast. All the staff were friendly and always helpful and attentive. Highly recommend and will stay here again if available.

Stayed here after visiting Goodwood FOS, location was ideal and easy to find. Room was small but very comfy beds and clean! The staff were super friendly! Breakfast was one of the tastiest Breakfast we've had from a hotel in years, could definitely tell everything was fresh and locally sourced, exceptional. We also had dinner the night before the food was equally as delicious, a small but tasty menu with lots of seasonal specials! Lovely little pub ❤️

Disappointing and expensive

Location was great. I chose the property because of its proximity to an ultra running event I had entered.

− Upon arriving at the property, the first words spoken to me were to ask me to pay for my stay, before even saying hello or welcome. Not particularly friendly. The lack of plant-based food and drink was extremely disappointing, even though I had messaged the property on booking 7 months earlier to ensure vegan options would be available. They couldn’t provide breakfast on the first day as I leaving too early for my event, but they couldn’t even provide any non-dairy milk for cereal. Luckily I’d brought some of my own as back-up. They were able to provide a few sachets of oat milk for coffee which was something. The next day, the cleaners had cleared away my remaining oat milk from my room, and when I went to get breakfast they had no plant-based milks available, no non-dairy spreads for toast, so the breakfast options were extremely limited. The menu even states to let staff know if you have any dietary requirements, but when you do they have no solutions for you! If they hadn’t insisted I pay on arrival, I certainly wouldn’t have paid full price given that I didn’t get a proper breakfast during my two-night stay. For the price I paid, I would expect a lot more for my money.
