Excellent -- give it a try
10.0Excellent location for Manchester and North West Pub next door for dinner. Room was large and had everything in it that I needed Best breakfast I have had -- excellent selection
− More plug points in Lounge area
Excellent stay in a gorgeous building with lovely hosts
9.0Lovely character property but with modern facilities. Really lovely welcoming hosts Fabulous breakfast (continental and cooked)
− Nothing
Nice location
7.0The location and garden space Staff were very welcoming
− Price of a beer in honesty bar Fluff in radiators, certain areas needed touch of paint. Room was very small
Everything a good B&B should be.
9.0Well appointed bedroom and bathroom (we had a separate private bathroom across the hall which we knew in advance and which was perfectly fine for us. Bath robes were provided). Good size bed with comfortable cotton sheets. Appreciated the bottled water and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There was a lounge for guests with drinks available on an honesty box basis and also a very nice outdoor seating area. We felt the hosts had really thought about the needs of guests. The buffet breakfast was of a high standard and had we been inclined to have a cooked breakfast there were a variety of options which we felt would have been excellent too. We ate at the next-door pub which serves pub grub (adequate, not exceptional) up until 8pm and has extensive indoor and outdoor seating including dog-friendly areas. Plenty of parking available and we do recommend visiting the Dunham Massey estate which is only a 10 minute walk away. This was a bonus as we actually stayed in order to visit RHS Bridgwater which is only 30 minutes by motorway.
− A small niggle which may be specific to the room we were in - we like to have a bedside table with plug for phone charging on both sides of the bed.
Fantastic location on the edge of Dunham Massey.
10.0Beautiful location, comfortable bed, hearty breakfast!
