Incredible - absolutely recommend
10.0I expected something average but got something truely exceptional. I can say without doubt this was the most comfortable, clean, roomy, well maintained and beautifully renovated accommodation I have EVER stayed in. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast was exquisite. The pub itself is charming and the dinner menu full of local produce and the meal I had was delicious. I was worried about where to park the car in such a tiny village but there is a big car park at the back. Definitely recommend. 11 stars!
Wonderful spot for a stop
6.0Beautiful spot and a lovely stretch of legs around the white cottage village. Some confusion over breakfast times with the landlord which got resolved but best to make it clear breakfast is not served until 9am if a business traveller this is too late. (i was asked if i stay in country pubs and i do 47 so far this year) Food was good quality i loved the chicken bites delicious. The room could do with a chair as you have to put luggage on the floor although the room is very small.

10.0It was a quirky building with history seeping out of the walls. Staff couldn’t do enough for you but we’re not intrusive and food excellent.

10.0One of the comfiest beds I have stayed in lovely big shower. The food was magnificent.A lot of choice of local produce perfectly cooked and coped wonderfully with my allergies. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were so friendly safe car park situated in lovely village with with beautiful dark skies for viewing the stars nice and peaceful we will be back
