An Underwhelming Experience Not to be Repeated
4.0Paolo & Andrea are very kind & gracious. Provided us with all the relevant information. The location, though far from Centro Storico and the major sights, is what we specifically picked. To be near Aventino and Teataccio.
− Room 31 was not realistically reflected in the online pictures. It was an awkward corner room with weird angles everywhere and the bathroom (even for Rome) is exceptionally tiny. Hand towels hang right in front of the toilet. Not hygienic. Paint was peeling. Chrome on taps were falling off. Sofa was sticky. Room garbage smelt smoky throughout our 4N stay. The planter lighting outside our balcony direcrly in front of our bed remained on most of the night. There was no way to switch it off from our room. There was a bar downstairs or pretty nearby that kept thumping out beats throughout the night. Ultimately, we felt more tired leaving than checking in. While Paolo, at reception, is a kind and gracious gentleman, sadly, the property, or at least the room we were in, is terribly rundown. I would not choose this property again.
