On the whole we enjoyed our stay as it was a weekend to celebrate our son’s wedding.
8.0Lovely building with nice atmosphere and character, staff friendly and helpful.
− Showers only dribbled, no biscuits on our room. Fire alarm went off at 4am but no one came round to say not to vacate the building or offered an apology or explanation the next day. We booked a pre wedding party meal for 22 people which was pre ordered but took an hour to be served, food excellent when eventually arrived.
Went well above my expectations. We'll be back!
10.0The hotel went well above my expectations. We had the most incredible stay, very relaxing and just what we needed. The staff were attentive and friendly, the spa was wonderful. Food great too. Will be back!
Extremely disappointed. We have decided to call it a day booking there in the future.
4.0Sitting in the garden having coffee and lunch when we first arrive.
− We have attended this venue every year for the past 6 years for our wedding anniversary. Boiler issues for the past two years, last year no hot water so they moved us to another room. After one night we had to pack our things and move to a suite which they provided, we were only there 3 nights. This year water again couldn’t use the shower as it didn’t regulate properly. Meals were far too expensive for what you got. Stairs are extremely dangerous as they get narrower on the bend and lighting not good either on them.
