A stay in Venice is always nice, because it is Venice, however the experience in the hotel is bad.

Venice itself and the location of the hotel.

− 1. The room was not prepared upon arrival When we entered our room, one of the beds had no bed sheets and had clearly not been prepared for guests. Although the hotel staff eventually made the bed after our complaint, this unnecessarily disrupted the beginning of our stay. 2. The minibar/refrigerator was completely non-functional; had to solve that myself Immediately after entering the room, we noticed that the minibar was not working. It was completely warm, the interior light did not function, and there was absolutely no cooling. We informed the reception immediately. The staff repeatedly insisted that the refrigerator was functioning normally and claimed that all refrigerators in the hotel worked in exactly the same way. After physically inspecting it, they told us to wait one or two hours because it would "certainly start cooling." It never did. When I contacted the reception again, I requested either another room or a replacement refrigerator. Instead of resolving the problem themselves, a young female receptionist in a black uniform opened the hotel's reservation system, identified an unoccupied room, handed me the keys, and instructed me to search for a working refrigerator myself. We entered another room together and immediately found a refrigerator that was actually functioning properly, proving that our original refrigerator had indeed been defective despite the staff's earlier claims. The same receptionist then instructed me to remove the working refrigerator from that room and install it in our own room. 3. Damaged and potentially dangerous hair dryer 4. Dangerous plumbing installation around the whirlpool bathtub 5, Additional maintenance deficiencies like missing wardrobe door handles and other signs of neglect.

Un excellent emplacement dans venise et la petite cour donnant sur le canal.

− C'est un hôtel 4 étoiles et je n'ai jamais vu un état aussi négligé ! Vitre d'armoire cassée, sèche-cheveux jauni, porte de douche ne fermant pas à cause des moisissures dans les joints. Pomme de douche remplie de moisissures et de calcaire. Bouton de chasse d'eau cassé. Les prises électriques au niveau du lit sont cassées, l'interrupteur de salle de bain aussi... Bref, l'établissement mérite une nouvelle inspection car il ne respecte clairement pas ses 4 étoiles !

Great location. Water taxi from airport pulled up right outside front door. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Excellent location!
