− They could have situated me in an empty cabin further from the tradies fixing up the other parts.

8.0Stayed in the recently refurbished part of the motel (parts are currently closed for refurbishment and some are yet to be done). Big bathroom, huge shower and fantastic water pressure. Called for a late check in and clear instructions on how to locate keys. Lovely staff from reception to cleaners and cafe. Yummy coffee in the on-site cafe, perfect for a stroll along the waterfront just across the road. They also have on-site laundry which I didn't use but good to know for next time!
− Only problem was trying to find room at night with noone on site. Although the property is well lit, maybe a map or directions on the check in info would help as the only stairs I found to the second floor were so far away from the room. Managed to find closer stairs the next morning though.
