10.0What a fantastic treehouse surprise! Absolutely beautiful and truly in the forest but steps away from a lovely sauna and hot tub, and the nicest host even has four laying hens! The route we took included some 1-2km twisty dirt road and felt like a real adventure. We stayed here for a romantic birthday two night stay while taking an excellent blacksmithing course at nearby Vans Blacksmithing in Hawkesbury, and stayed another day for open forge time. Will definitely come again! Nice extra touch- the lovely host had a bundle of compressed wood logs for us and we immediately had a cosy fire in the cabin. When we got to the sauna, there was a full changing area with fresh robes, slippers, and water with dipper. Excellent!!!!

10.0Overall, our stay was great. Very relaxed, host was very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent.
A beautiful relaxing trip
10.0We were impressed with the area and the hotel. Our room was a little cool but there was an extra blanket.The breakfast was exceptional. We will brush up on our French if we go again. It was hard to ask questions of the inn keeper as his English was as poor as our French. We were attending a wedding on Saturday and it was lovely to linger over breakfast, going for a walk then getting ready for the late afternoon wedding.
