6.0The evening meal was quite good, although service in the restaurant and bar was glum. The kettle in the room didn't work, I left a note to tell them but haven't heard from them.

10.0After a long day walking arriving here was a pleasure. The staff were welcoming and although the kitchen was about to close they held off closing and served me.The room was just what was needed. Clean, and quite, and a comfortable bed. In the morning there was a very generous continental breakfast that kept me going for quite a long stretch of that day's walking without need to refuel! I would most certainly recommend this place and would definitely stay again if I was passing through.

10.0Arrived late to a nice welcome from the girls behind the bar. Shown to my room and after unpacking I went back to the bar and had a few drinks and a bite to eat. Will definitely recommend
