Rückkehr geplant als Ausgangspunkt zu diversen Motorradtouren in Thüringen.

Schönes, angenehmes Hotel mit nicht allzu vielen Zimmern in einer ehemaligen Brauerei. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht, die Wünsche der Hotelgäste zu erfüllen. Der angeschlossene Restaurationsbetrieb bereitet sehr gute Steaks und andere Fleischwaren zu. Zu anderen Bestellungen, wie zum Beispiel Fisch oder vegetarischen Platten, kann ich leider keine Aussage machen, es gibt sie aber.

− Zwei Punkte haben mir nicht gefallen: ich finde es lächerlich, dass obwohl das Hotel nicht in Innenstadt Lage liegt, eine Gebühr für den Parkplatz in Höhe von fünf Euro pro Tag erhoben wird. Es ist auch nicht so, dass am Hotel Parkplatznot herrscht. Das sollte sich aus meiner Sicht die Hotelleitung noch einmal überlegen. Etwas störend ist auch das Geräusch eines Kompressors, von dem ich annehme, dass er zu einer Kühlanlage gehört, das die ganze Nacht hindurch vor allem im Sinne von dumpfen Vibrationen im gesamten Hotel zu hören war. Auch hier sollte man über eine technische Lösung dieses Problems nachdenken.

Wir waren schon 3x in diesem Hotel für eine Kurzbesuch von Arnstadt. Die Betten sind sehr gut. Das Zimmer ist für die Größe zweckmäßig engerichtet.

− Wir waren 9:00 Uhr dort. Die Wurst und den Käse konnte man wegen der Fliegen auf dem Bufett besser nicht essen. Dieses haben wir auch nicht getan. Für ein Brötchen mit verpackter Butter (gut) und Marmelade war mir der Preis für das Frühstück zu hoch. Ansonsten war die Auswahl "dürftig".

Außerordentlich gutes Frühstück, da hat wirklich nichts gefehlt

− Auf den Bildern ist ein Kühlschrank zu sehen. Darauf habe ich mich verlassen und Getränke gekauft. Vor Ort war der dann aber nicht zu nutzen, weil er sich hinter einer abgeschlossenen Schiebetür befand. Eine Rückfrage ergab, dass man für die Nutzung der Küchenzeile einen Aufschlag von € 15 zu zahlen hat. M.E. ziemlich schlechter Service. Dazu dann noch das langsamste WLAN der letzten fünf Jahre (0,5 MBit). Geht gar nicht.

Zimmer ordentlich und sauber. Frühstück ausreichend. Allgemein freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

− Abgesehen vom Zimmer eher ungepfleges Erscheinungsbild insgesamt.Hier fehlt ein Hausmeisterteam welches dauernd für ansprechende Optik sorgt. Im Restaurant nettes aber überfordertes Personal. Lange Wartezeiten auf die Speisen. Fehlende Klimaanlage in den Zimmern.
