10.0If you would like to feel like a truly special guest, then **Hotel on the Promenade** is definitely the place for you. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of brut waiting for us in the room. We asked for slippers, and they were already in our room the very next day. On our last evening, we were also greeted with treats and a handwritten card with kind wishes. Mr. Eugene is exceptionally welcoming and customer-oriented. He was always happy to help us with recommendations and enjoyed having pleasant conversations with us. He is also an incredibly hardworking person. His workday ends very late and starts very early, yet he always looks impeccable. The hotel has an excellent location — the ocean is just a 1–2 minute walk away, and both Camps Bay and the Waterfront are conveniently close.

Comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff, in the attractive Sea Point area of Cape Town.
10.0The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet and accessible by lift. It was a short distance to the sea front, with a lovely promenade walk and amazing sunset views. As a solo female traveler I felt safe there.
