Lodge is worn and in need of renovation
5.0Location is amazing. Restaurant and bar has large deck with beautiful water views. Staff is friendly.
− Lodge is very, very dated and in need of maintenance and renovation. Carpets are completely worn, wood is faded and in need of refinishing. The air conditioning in our room was not built in and was a portable standalone unit which was very loud and not efficient. Our stay included breakfast. Unfortunately, even though we were there before 9 am, the food and drinks were almost all empty and need of replacement (which never came). No coffee, orange juice, eggs, or lox. Lastly, upon checkout we were charged a resort fee and taxes for our stay. When we returned home we found these fees and taxes were already included in our booking and previously paid. I have requested a refund of these duplicate charges.

2.0We had dinner here recently as a large group, the food was terrible, long wait, cold and over cooked when it eventually arrived, our starters didn’t arrive at all, could be better for the prices charged, the view is spectacular, maybe the chef was on holidays!
It was a very pleasant experience, and I’d likely return.
10.0I liked the feel of the place. I also really liked the tea nook, even though I didn’t utilize it. Proximity to the lake was definitely a win. I also thought Heather was especially helpful in helping me sort out issues I had before my arrival.
− Well, my lunch wasn’t exactly hot at the restaurant the first day, and I wasn’t a fan of the pasta I ordered from room service. Also, the parking lot was very small and so I didn’t drive anywhere while I was there for fear of losing my spot.
