Nice old pub

A nice welcome,plenty of tea & coffees & water bottles but no biscuits, room was small but comfortable,situated in a quiet back yard where bins are & an old van are though.Parking a little tight but ok.Food was good,drinks were expensive.Breakfast was good with anything you want.Room not serviced if longer than one night.Comfortable bed nice clean sheets & duvet.No Netflix connection.

The location was easily found and just off the main road. There was plenty of car park space when we arrived, but it was a bit busier when we returned later, due to other residents and the evening restaurant and bar business. No real problem with that and we were helped to find a suitable position to park. The welcome was very good and efficient. The room was very clean and tidy and the shower room was modern and just right. Altogether a very pleasant stay with exceptionally friendly staff and customers.
