Excellent guest house and highly recommended.
9.0Very convenient for getting into the town centre, just a 20 minute walk, and great to have car parking available. Room was a good size with en-suite bathroom. Good sized flat screen tv in the room and a plentiful supply of tea and coffee, etc. comfortable, good sized double bed and enough pillows to be comfortable. Breakfast was great and the staff were lovely. As it was hot, the staff were thoughtful in putting a fan in the room to keep it cool for us.
− Not much to say here. The shower was quite small and the shower head was too heavy for the holder so kept sliding down. I had to take it off and hold it in the end, but really, it was not a big issue. In our room, at the very top, had a roof beam very low over the bed. I was warned about it, but still managed to forget once and almost knocked myself out hitting my head. My fault entirely though. Perhaps painting it a darker colour to make it stand out from the ceiling would help? Not a big issue though. The car park is quite tight, so if you have a big car you may struggle. I have a decent sized SUV and managed ok, but a RR or Defender sized car may struggle. Again not a big issue.
