A lovely sunny winter break in luxury and style

A wonderful sunny winter break ! A short hop from the airport, the hotel was welcoming and very luxurious ! We had a fabulous room overlooking the pool with afternoon sun so we enjoyed this time on our balcony. We were All inclusive and the drinks and food choices were good . We were there for a chill out and the Riad offered exactly what we were looking for, a short taxi ride to Jamaa el Fna and the centre of Marrakech but a little tranquil and elegant oasis when when arrived back ! The staff were amazing ! Khadij in the dining room was lovely always welcomed us with a lovely smile and was very attentive , I’d say she works twice as fast as others in her position she is definite to be thanked, Rania on reception / hospitality is also a credit to you, a truly sweet person but the award for the most amazing person we met , who went over and above to help us was Khalid , one of the super managers on Reception what a lovely person a real credit to the hotel! He was so kind and went out of his way to help us with a booking !

Genuine people and fabulous Interiors.

The hotel interior is fabulous , take the time to enjoy it top tip look up . There is a genuine warm welcome from the staff in every department, but special thanks to Salim ( Bar Manager) and Moumssif (Restaurant Manager), both went above and beyond to make us welcome. Special thanks to the Guest services Manager Eimon. Top tip, please and thank you goes a long way with people , the Moroccan people are eager to please. Relax and enjoy the surroundings and people.

Beautifully Disappointing!

Such a gorgeous hotel, stunning grounds, fantastic room, friendly reception staff. Really let down by the restaurant and lack of sunbeds. Food was lukewarm with very limited choices. For example fruit choice over 5 night stay was apples and oranges only! Only one or 2 types of roast meat. Not what I'd expect after staying in other 5 star hotels in Egypt recently. The tables were never properly set and if you asked for anything the staff were mainly grumpy and unhelpful. Very bad customer service. Always slow to serve drinks. No ice cream! Our main complaint was the lack of sunbeds. Not enough by far and all booked up with towels from 7am. Lots of space but no beds. Totally unacceptable to go on this kind of holiday and not be able to relax in the sun. There were 10 empty beds in the Spa but staff said they weren't allowed to bring them out! This caused a lot of stress for guests and is why we won't be back.
