10.0Siamo stati ospiti dei coniugi Catalfamo due o tre volte agli inizi degli anni duemila assieme ad altri amici, rimanendo ammaliati dalla struttura, dove il fascino dei secoli trascorsi si percepisce dai legni anneriti, le pietre levigate dall'attività agricola e quotidiana; con un restauro conservativo di rara sensibilità. Il tutto immerso in un uliveto stupendo, dove alcuni esemplari probabilmente risalgono al periodo normanno e che da soli meritano un passaggio. I signori Catalfamo non li abbiamo trovati più; ci hanno lasciato da alcuni anni. Il figlio Luca con la compagna Silvia ( polacca di nascita ma siciliana di sentimento) continuano a gestire e custodire con amore ed attaccamento questo posto stupendo, inalterato nel suo fascino senza tempo.

10.0EVERYTHING. Beautiful, incredibly peaceful setting, wonderful hosts, comfortable, well-equipped room, and some of the best meals I had in Siciia. Can't recommend it highly enough. Luca & Sylvia are the best!

− The property is a little isolated so you need a car if you want to go for meals anywhere else. There really is no need though. The evening meal is fantastic.
