10.0This classic hotel was in a perfect location for my stay in the Jungfrau area. I'm travelling by train and it is just a few steps from the station. I enjoyed the feeling of staying in one of the grand hotels from an earlier era of travel. I had a valley view room on the third floor and looking out from my balcony was a great way to start the day. Breakfast selection was very good and I also enjoyed three dinners in the restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

4.0Formerly a grand old hotel, but our room was 50 years overdue for a renovation. It ended up costing a fortune for the view, but the weather did not cooperate. So it ended up being a dump with a view, without the view. Our worst value stay ever by a long shot.

10.0Old world charm in a beautiful setting. From the moment we walked in the staff were friendly and helpful.The morning breakfast buffet had a variety of foods and were appetizing. A real treat was the pianist at night setting the tone of a world gone by. Would love to stay here again it is also a one minute walk from the train station. Give them a call and they will take your bags from the station to the uphill climb to the hotel..
