4.0Didn't end up staying
− Booked for four nights but didn't end up staying as it didn't look like the photos at all. We were given rooms right up the back of the property, and they were dark, had no daybeds or verandahs like the photos, and the gardens were unkept. I'm not a fussy person, and I don't expect five star, but these rooms didn't look at all like what we were expecting. In terms of price was much more than we would normally pay, so was supposed to be a treat, so we were pretty disappointed. We ended up cancelling our stay, but still had to pay for one night which was pretty unfair given the situation. The staff were really keen to help but we unable to offer us rooms similar to the photos. Unusual situation for Bali, where I normally feel pretty satisfied and impressed by all the accommodation. I don't want to criticise the staff as I'm sure that they are always trying to do their best, but I do think that updated photos would be a good idea so people know what they're getting.

7.0The peace & quiet atmosphere. The friendly staff.
− Rooms need upgradation! We have been coming to Pemuteran for the last 25 years and have been staying at Taman Selini on & off many times. The property looks dated now. The restaurant and its menu also needs an overhaul. Beach front dining is also missing.
Hope to return to this charming piece of Paradise.
10.0We absolutely love the property. We had the place pretty well to ourselves, not sure why because it really is a lovely place. Probably has the best position on the beach. Plenty of eating options either side at larger resorts.

Good value for money but not what I expected.
7.0The people are very nice and it’s a great location. I like hearing the beach from my room.
− The photos of my bungalow looked filled with light but I found the room to be very dark. As a solo traveller I planned to do lots of reading (especially since there is no TV) but needed to keep lights on even during the day. It didn’t feel great to stay in the room during the day. The day bed also felt too dark to read by. Probably if you were with a partner it would be perfect.
