10.0Vriendelijke ontvangst. Zeer ruim appartement met een groot balkon en weids zeezicht. Zonsopkomst direct tegenover het appartement (nr 46). Zeer schoon. Ruime badkamer met bubbelbad! Keuken prima uitgerust. Eigen parkeerplaats bij appartement. Bushalte en strandopgang tegenover het complex. Korte autorit naar Coolum zelf.
We had a great time.

− Hot water ran out a couple of times for 7 people. But it wasn’t an issue for us.

10.0Location was excellent with breath taking views of the ocean and sunrise. The garage parking was a bonus as was the the access to the property being on a single level.

− Receiving far too many text messages before and ‘during’ our stay ….. unnecessary and annoying.

10.0There are two pools at the resort. While neither is particularly large, one is heated. A staff member advised that the heated pool is maintained at around 28°C. During our 3 nights stay in early July, we did not see anyone else come to the pool, except my kids. The beach is only a 5 minutes walk away via a downhill staircase through a bushland setting. While the path is pleasant during the day, it may be less suitable for a night visit. The beach is little rocky and reletively quite if we compare it to the other popular beaches. The return walk involves a steady uphill climb, which made for good exercise. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Point Coolum. The peaceful surroundings provided a welcome opportunity to unwind and escape the pace of our busy daily routine. The closest IGA takes 5mins drive and Coles takes about 10mins dirve, I did not notice any restaurant or eating place on site or within easy walking distance, so I would recommend picking up groceries and any essentials before arriving to make your stay more comfortable.
