Levendige pub maar bediening moet beter.

De kamer was niet zo groot, maar mooi ingericht. Groot en comfortabel bed. Mooi uitzicht vanuit de kamer. Kamer wel erg warm, er is een ventilator voorzien. Badkamer erg klein maar geriefelijk. Restaurant is groot, veel keuze en lekkere gerechten. Er zijn binnen veel gezellige hoekjes en ook buiten is er veel zitruimte. Gratis parking bij de pub.

− De netheid was niet in orde; de voegen van de douche waren écht héél vies en lichtschakelaars, knopjes radio ... zaten nog vol vette vingers. Het personeel was erg onervaren en weinig hartelijk. De toegang naar de kamers is niet zo netjes en aantrekkelijk, kan een poetsbeurt en misschien een likje verf gebruiken.

Room was lovely and set back away from the main pub, so there was no noise at all. The room itself was very well appointed and a great place to spend the night. We didn't spend any time in the pub itself but it looked very pleasant. Breakfast was good with a great selection of dishes.

− No complaints at all. I didn't get my black pudding and got scrambled instead of fried eggs but is churlish to complain when the breakfast itself was delicious.

Fantastic Hotel/Pub, Hidden Away In A Beautiful Location. Fantastic Food, Staff, Rooms and Wine!!

We chose this hotel on our way back from France trip to visit Legoland before heading back North so was a bit last minute. It is only 5 mins drive from Legoland so was perfect and the price for the 3 of us was extremely reasonable. We arrived at 5pm and had a couple of drinks and then got our room which was literally 5 meters from where we were sitting. The room was huge and beautifully decorated with lovely shower and toilet area. TV was massive. It was still 28 degrees outside so sat at the front of the hotel in the sun amongst the locals and had a stunnng dinner and even more drinks. The staff were great and very accomodating in looking after us. It was a very pleasant finale to our trip and have been recommending this place to lots of people now. A must visit if you are in the area. We loved it.

Chambre très confortable. Douche super (mais lavabo de nain). Vieux pub au plafond bas. Chambre qui donne sur un petit jardin. Lit très confortable.

− Leur ale - locale j’imagine (Black Star) - est de la pisse de chat. Immonde.

Quiet pub in great location for Windsor or Ascot, Lovely airy room with Dyson fan in these humid conditions, breakfast and dinner were excellent and service was good. Ollie the waiter was exceptionally kind and looked after us.

− The only criticism would be the checking in on a Sunday in the middle of a packed pub,felt it could be done in a more private area but other than that everything went great.

We believe that dogs are part of the family and there is no need to leave any four-legged guests behind for your staycation. We have created special packages for overnight stays in our bedrooms that we have designated as dog friendly. Complete with their own doggy bed, blanket, bowl, and welcome box of tasty treats, up to a maximum of two dogs per room can stay with you, where available, for £20 per pet, per night.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
