10.0I had to make the booking at very short notice and they were exceptionally accommodating. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was extraordinarily good value for money. The facilities were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely book again if needed and would highly recommend as a hotel option to others.
Noisy hotel, unsuitable for families on event nights
3.0The decor and room amenities.
− Incredibly noisy hotel. I booked the 'family room' and stated there would be two adults and one baby under one at point of booking. I was not informed in advance that the hotel regularly holds events in the courtyard. I was not informed that the 'family room' is on the ground floor, with windows directly looking out to the courtyard, opposite the DJ decks. As the building is listed there is no soundproofing in place. The music was incredibly loud in the room and went on until 10pm, conversation from nearby tables could also be heard during track transitions. Upon raising this issue with the hotel I was informed that I would not be compensated for the disruption as I should've been expecting the noise as the events are advertised. There is no mention of a bar on booking.com, let alone a list of events. They were implying I should've searched for the hotel on other platforms, which is not usual or acceptable. Even if I had, there is no detail on the position of the 'family room' and how this might affect your stay. Therefore I am posting this review to help others make an informed decision on whether this is the right hotel for your needs. If you're hoping for a quiet early night for whatever reason, look elsewhere.

− Room was a little dated but covered all we needed. Not aware food wasn't available on Sunday night when we arrived but on check in was informed and given some good local options to choose from. Didn't try breakfast as it was a costly extra option.

6.0Don’t accept room 110 too close to the night club on a sat. .very loud music to midnight. Spoilt our stay.
