Overall good, but not Worth the price

The staff were friendly, and the à la carte food was very good. The hotel also has a great water park for kids that parents can enjoy too, along with plenty of entertainment for children. That said, I would not recommend this hotel overall. The beach was full of seaweed and very rocky, to the point where it could hurt your feet. The buffet was disappointing, with limited variety and quality far below what I would expect from a 5-star resort. The kids club was also not very engaging—my son stayed less than an hour and said he never wanted to go back. Overall, I do not think it was worth the price, especially when there are better options in the same price range.

Adult only stay

The overall resort is very large but the adult only section was the perfect size. We loved the pool vibe - not loud music all day long just the right amount. The pool food and drink service was amazing ! Oscar and all the others were very good. The fitness classes were so great. We did yoga and hiit, functional movement and TRX classes . The instructor Vasty had all the energy and knowledge you want in a fitness instruction. She’s one of a kind! Amazing energy ! We did one class with Michelle and she was great too. The beach - the water was amazing! No seaweed The housekeeping and minibar refill people - no issues always done to perfection when we returned to the day. The only negative were the restaurants at night. The buffet had better food. The à la carte was not great except the hibachi . The serve at Lemon and the food was poor and we are not hard to please people. Anyways we still enjoy the nights but the buffet was the best food we had at supper. Loved the coffee shop! In all we had a great time with amazing weather. Adult only is the way to go now that our kids are older. We really enjoyed that part of the trip!

overall it was good. staff are lovely. activities are good. food could be a bit better. sargasso seaweed stench was bad. couldnt enjoy the beach. kids had fun. water slides and pools were very good.

Great resort for families!

Overall we had a fantastic family getaway. Everything felt intentional and geared towards families with young children. The staff were ALL exceptionally friendly and kind (very rare these days) and the food was great. A couple of us had some g.i. Issues for a couple days but that may have been because we overindulged on fresh salads. We had the family concierge service, which I would highly recommend to everyone with kids. All the restaurants were booked for us and we had to do very little other than to show up. Our concierge, Tiara Garcia, was fantastic and helped us out with every little issue we had. The kids loved all the little gifts you brought. Thank you Tiara! The kids loved all the evening programming as well. We had a lot of fun with the kids, relaxed and made some lasting memories. Wouldn’t hesitate coming back again. The early morning rush of people seeking to “reserve” several pool loungers was the only negative aspect of the experience because it takes away from having a relaxing morning and would ask the resort to seek a resolution to this issue.

Paradisus delivers again! We had a wonderful time. Special shout out to Christopher at the Front Desk and Sebastian at Flora restaurant for making our stay so wonderful.
