Nice but not spectacular
6.0The house is really nice, but seems a little old and run down. The staff is friendly. The pool was a little dirty and the generator was really loud. However, I would say that for the price we paid (KES7,500 per room), it is value for money
Lovely property, all night party on Friday night
2.0This is a really really lovely property. Brilliant layout, pool, chill out beds etc. The main letdown for me was that it was a one-night stop on a motorbike tour and there was an all night party that was still going when I left at 6:30am. Didn't get much sleep which is usually my main goal. Maybe if I wasn't driving I would have joined in but as everyone was pretty friendly but overall was disappointed as I could have stayed somewhere else had I known.

10.0I cannot rate this place highly enough. Mohamed was a great host, we were made to feel very welcome with him and his family. The rooms are very large and everything is very safe within the hotel.

8.0Large comfortable bed with the necessary mosquito nets, situated a few steps from the pool. The hotel was well set out allowing plenty of space to relax by the poolside or on the terrace depending on the time of day. Restaurant standard was good and staff very welcoming
Kenyan House - Mombasa, a little gem!
8.0Although a little hard to find, signage wise, We spent an enjoyable 2 nights in this lovely little hotel . All staff were very amicable, and both food and wine very good. Will be going back someday, without question.
