Be aware of pictures taken with wide angle lens, no heating and poor Internet.
3.0The positive was, friendly staff, but several could not speak English or Spanish, the location was for us perfect. Parking charges in that area are €35 till €65 per day. So we came from home, near Malaga, by car. We did booked the train, to avoid driving, but then the high speed train crash was reason that there where no trains going. We then checked airlines. They to advantage of this crash and increased their fares during day flights up to PLUS €400 one way per person. So we decided to take our car. Drive to Madrid/ Getafe, and booked there a parking for 4 days, total price €40,00. 5 minutes walk to train station and for €2.20 Per person the train/metro brought us to SOL station in Madrid. This was 400 mtr from hotel. The negatives from this hostal are. No Internet during the evening and if, very weak reception. On the wall is big heather, but doesn't work. In the room 2 radiators from central heating, but they don't work. We liked little bit warmed in the room because at evening it was 10 degrees outside. The pictures from the rooms have been taken with wide angle lens and looking very spacious, ON THE PICTURES. In reality the room and bathroom are very small. The door from the room is from the reception!!!! So every phone call, new customers, and staff talking in the evening to friends endless, we had that disturbance. We asked for the heating problem, but nothing reception could do. Same for the bad wifi/ Internet. So we are from the Malaga area and liked Madrid. Decided to visit again, but DEFINITELY NOT IN THIS HOSTAL.
