7.0Staff was kind and room was clean. Good location, no issues. For this category in Madison, it was much better than others.
− The pool's under construction and they could replace the dead plants in the open areas. That would definitely go a long way.

5.0The front desk and housekeeping staff were very nice. We had a quiet, comfortable room. Our car was not broken into, though the property looked pretty rough.
− Prices everywhere in the area were inflated because it was graduation weekend at the University. The only reasonably-priced place we could find near the Dane County airport was this motel in Sun Prairie. Fortunately, it was not far from Madison at all. But it was overpriced for the facility due to the busy weekend. Maybe when prices are normal, it would be a decent value. But the exterior of the motel is really rough right now, with torn-up asphalt, gravel parking, etc.
We checked out after a couple of hours...
2.0Decent location, near a lot of stores and restaurants
− Very run down and outdated. The mini fridge and the air conditioner didn't get cold, there was a ball of hair on the "clean" shower floor. The room had a weird smell. Parking lot was pretty busted up
